Hello.  Last night as I was lying in bed trying to sleep I realized that it’s been a very long time since we’ve posted anything new on the blog.  So I decided to do that today.  The last month has flown by.  Some of the things that we’ve done over the past few weeks:

• Master’s Alumni Dodger night - this was a fun night of baseball, friends, buses, and all you can eat dodger dogs and nachos.  The Dodgers won against the Braves.
• Register for baby gifts - I enjoyed this more than registering for wedding presents.  I also realized that it will probably be the last time I really ever register for things.  We registered at Target and Amazon.com.  
• Career Group - the Bible Study that we go to every other Friday night.  It’s lots of fun and tomorrow night is a BBQ.
• Church - this is a weekly event as many of you know.  We’ve worked in the nursery a few times, and last Sunday night Nate played his upright bass for evening worship.  Definitely a highlight in his bass playing career thus far.
• Game Night at the Hulets - this happens most Tuesday nights, with a few exceptions.  This last game night I played Skip Bo which I haven’t played since high school, and Nate flew remote controlled helicopters with some of the other guys.  The time before that we had a large group Farkel game.
• The Dark Knight - we went to the movies with our friends Leah and Anthony on Saturday night to see this.  We got there an hour and fifteen minutes before the movie started, and the line was already stretching from Theatre 1 around the corner to the bathrooms.  If you’re familiar with Edwards Cinema Valencia, you know just how long that is.
• Charlie O’s - a great little jazz place in the valley that we visited last week.  We saw Zane Musa play the life out of his sax.  A good time for sure.
• Brian Henderson’s Wedding - this was on the 5th of July and was a ton of fun.  Nate was a grooms man and did a great job of standing around looking good in a tux.  

What’s coming up in the next month:

•  Mark and Aubrey - they’re back and coming to visit us next week.  Should be lots of fun, and we’ll have pictures to post, I’m sure.
• Birthing Classes - these start at the beginning of August and we also have a infant CPR class that we’re taking this coming Tues.  I’m very interested to see how these classes go and really looking forward to experiencing the range of pregnant couples that will be our class mates.  I’ll be posting about that as well.

Those are really the big events that will be happening.  We’ll be in the home stretch of pregnancy (Praise the Lord) and getting our house/ life ready for a baby.  This coming Monday I’ll be at 33 weeks, which means I’ll have 7 weeks left until the due date.  We should post a profile picture sometime soon.  It’s impressive.
