A train hit a vehicle in Glendale today.
I left work and took the light-rail into LA. I arrived at Union Station downtown and the conductor said both tracks were closed. He said our train would be delayed for an unknown amount of time. So I got back on the light-rail and returned to Pasadena. Ash is going to pick me up at work. It seems silly backtracking like that, but sometimes going back to where you started is the shortest path to where you want to go.

We still haven’t bought a car. Timber and Georgia from our church are letting us borrow their Toyota. It has has been a huge blessing.
We just found out that Ashley is going to be laid off in March. That is stressful on many levels but particularly because the housing market is poor right now and we would have a hard time selling our condo. Thankfully we have time for her to find another job and some opportunities are already cropping up. If Ash has to find a new job soon she may just get a job in Pasadena. Then we could commute there together until we can move down there.
